The new FTC season is here, and with it comes a brand-new challenge. DECODE, this year’s theme, is all about artefacts and the connection between the present and the future - a concept that couldn’t align more with what we want this season to be about.
For Andromeda, DECODE represents a chance to grow not just technically, but as a community. We’ve always believed that great engineering doesn’t happen in isolation; it’s built through collaboration, shared ideas, and learning from others. That’s the mindset driving us this year - to strengthen the links between teams, mentors and the wider robotics network we’re a part of.
Since kickoff, our workspace has been a constant flow of planning, testing, and refining. Each prototype brings us one step closer to refining and realizing our vision, while the team keeps experimenting with new approaches and exchanging feedback daily. There’s a quiet focus in the room this season, less about chasing perfection but more about improving together, one idea at a time.
Our vision for DECODE is simple: to build something that reflects the way we think and work as a team so that we foster creativity, being connected, and constant evolution. Whether that’s through collaborating with other teams, sharing our progress, or supporting newcomers to the FTC community, we want this season to leave a mark that goes beyond the competition field.
It’s the start of something exciting, and we’re ready to decode what’s next!
